Anne Dahl is an emerging interdisciplinary artist with a focus on metal sculpture and wearable objects based in Tiohtià:ke (Montréal). She attended NSCAD University in Jewellery Design/Metalsmithing and Intermedia and has trained internationally in silversmithing and stone sculpture in Indonesia and Germany respectively. Her most recent works take a turn off the body into larger bronze sculpture highlighting her specialized wax techniques. She creates a psychedelic renaissance where familiar silhouettes are reimagined with organic time based wax forming techniques. It is her love of conceptual and ephemeral art/life practices that inspires the collaboration between body and object. She has exhibited in group shows in Montréal, Ottawa, and New York and has had jewellery seen in Fashion Magazine, ELLE Canada, Clin d’œil, and Ottawa Magazine.
